Rates & Fees
Our rates & fees vary based on our services, and your needs.
We will always quote your rate, and any fees prior to scheduling a session.
What this means – We don’t have a set hourly rate or fee for every service or program. A client may have a simple need or concern that may only take half an hour to address in a short session, and that would be billed at a lower rate. Another service may take more than an hour, or several sessions, such as a Program, in that case, the rate or fees may be more. Sessions & programs could range from less than $50 to more than $300, with most services falling in-between in price. Your needs may also include your ability to pay, and we may adjust our rates at our discretion.
Any rates and fees are discussed and agreed to before scheduling a session – we don’t have hidden fees. Period. If achieving your goals will take several sessions, or several clock hours, then we’ll tell you before we start.

Our consultations are free and easy. We discuss your needs, determine how we can best help you, and then discuss the rates and fees for service – just like any scheduling service with any other professional.

Payment
Payment for services rendered is due on the date of service.
If more than one session is expected, such as for follow-up or as part of a program, payment may be expected before starting.
What this means – We expect payment at the end of the session. If we’re doing work with you over many sessions, such as a Smoking Cessation or Weight Loss program, we may ask for your commitment and payment before starting.
We accept cash, checks, credit, or debit cards, and PayPal.
Charges may appear on your financial statement as “Mental Gears, LLC” or “Hopmeadow Hypnosis”
Insurance
Hopmeadow Hypnosis does not accept insurance.
We will provide detailed receipts for submission to your Insurance Provider for reimbursement. Hopmeadow Hypnosis is not liable for the submission, approval, denial, or reimbursement of your claim.
What this means – We understand that clients may prefer to use insurance to pay for many professional services, but as lay hypnotists, although certified, our services are rendered a non-medical capacity. This means we are ineligible to be considered a covered service or procedure by most insurance providers. Please note, while it may seem inconvenient, we also would ask you to appreciate the value in self-pay. Self-pay allows us to focus on you and our services, protect your privacy, and is mutual commitment between the client and provider – we commit to provide exceptional service to you, as you commit to the investment of time and effort for yourself.
We will gladly provide a detailed receipt of services rendered for submission to your Insurance Provider. Please let us know any specific requirements that must appear on your receipt for submission of your claim to your Insurance Provider prior to your visit. We encourage you to check with your Insurance provider prior to your visit on how to submit a claim, and how the claim will be reimbursed to you (such as if it is applied to a premium, deductible, or cash back) and at how much (partial or full.) We cannot furnish any additional advice or support or your insurance claim and reimbursement other than your receipt.
